About the sad state of the world.

Its quite pathetic. [dont you think?]

well, for one, pop [or popular] culture is taking the world by storm and the sad part is that, people nowadays don't really seem to have a mind of their own. I am not saying that its wrong to follow/listen to pop music, but everything has to be done in MODERATION, yea? [tell me about it. aha]

It seems scary that at every single corner of campus, you hear several people humming the SAME song (over and over again), like a tape recorder. I admit it, pop music can be quite addictive, but still, it seems to instill a kind of "trance-like state" onto people who listen to too much of it. Understandably, we all need an idol/someone we admire, but why take it to a whole new level, which in turn causes you to lose all direction in life?

Is it really worth? I have friends who submerge themselves in pop culture, surfacing no better than the original singers of the song themselves. So much for a true identity. [-sigh-] I quantify as a big fan of Placebo,Franz Ferdinand and The Cat Empire, let me tell you, their music proves to be cathartic.

the only reason why I am intending to take a break is due to the intense pressure from school work, self-induced stress to get good grades and the crazy dramanight schedule that all LD girls would have in July.

when all else fails...

i just realised that murders are currently in "style" uh huh. maybe its because of the high stress level that we are all facing, which indirectly causes the death of the people we uhm, loathe. Not our fault, really, blame it on the over-enthusiastic workforce, which technically pushes us to the limit. okay. we just CROSSED THE LINE. whoot. over, people. therefore increasing the murder rates in our country, more of crime rates; at least.

I'd gladly stick your head in a box.

alrighty. in case you were wondering how i can actually blog in school. I AM NOT. currently sick, and at home. since my competition is tomorrow....-faints- and the uniform looks too nice to be worn...i dont think i would make it to zcc....

JUST KIDDING.

oh yes. i would be at the zcc competition tomorrow. and i think all this "being sick" came just on time, since my fever and sorethroat just allowed me to start my march hols 1 1/2 days earlier, miss my physics test...and the best of all...I dont have to see her face to spoil the whole competition mood. [drama as you might guess]

GUESS WHAT.

after practically 24 hrs of sleep, i am now back to being "flopster V1.5, with the alternative BLINK! function". and yes, i got my voice back [evil laugh] and astrid... if you read this, tell me if you are going for the movie.. ahah u can buy me my tix...since its my b.day the next day ahahha. -smirks-

tell me how school goes. i'd be at home, catching up on work. MEDIA studies.....if you know what i mean. =)
